The mild variety of Piporé is characterized by its long-lasting favour.
In Guarani,"PI" means foot, "PO" means hands and "RE" means traces. Thus the word "Piporé" arose which means the foot and hand traces of the cacique Santos, who according to the legend left an indelible mark on the banks of the stream Santo Pipo and was baptized by the Jesuits there.
Piporé requires in its elaboration of a natural storage about one year and a half and with the perfect blend of raw materials, it achieved the preferred traditional flavor all over the world.
