Príncipe de los Apóstoles 0,7L - Mate Gin (40% Vol)

When the Spanish conquistadors colonised what today is Argentina they brought the jesuits to assist with the evangelisation of the local tribes. The jesuits learned from the Guaraní tribes the use of the mate leaf and started its first formal plantations. The town of Apóstoles in the province of Misiones was the first plantation and today it is the national capital of Yerba Mate in Argentina.
It’s original name is longer:

Príncipe de los Apóstoles

We wanted to honour our land and our Yerba Mate. We couldn’t find a better way.

The New World Gins are different from the classic London Dry Gins. They move away from the strong wintry flavours of junipers and use it merely as a platform for more regional and contemporary notes. Príncipe de los Apóstoles is the latin-american expression for a New World Gin.
In all the meanings of the term. It is the first Latin American Premium Gin. Its main botanicals are yerba mate, eucalyptus, peperina, coriander and pink grapefruit. Its story is strongly related whit the New World.

Gin, mate tea, eucalyptus, peperina, coriander and pink grapefruit
