The plantations are located in Colonia Santo Domingo Savio , San Ignacio , Misiones province . Very close to San Ignacio Mini ; one of the 30 most important people of the " Jesuits founded missions " in the region.
Yerba mate Silvestre Kraus is a product of exquisite taste and fragrant aroma of mint.
It is a yerba mate with stem. It has been produced following a unique drying process which consists of the indirect warming through the heat produced by a boiler. This way a smoke-free tea is obtained, with a really smooth taste and a nice aroma.
Due to the different production and drying process without smoke, Kraus Mate differs in its taste and smell from other yerba mate teas.
Heat the water to 80°C, making sure it does not boil.
Fill ¾ of the mate cup with yerba mate.
Cover the opening, turn it upside down and shake it gently.
Tilt the yerba to one side at about a 45° angle.
Pour a small amount of warm water (40°C) into the emptier area.
Wait 20–40 seconds for the yerba to absorb the water.
Insert the bombilla while covering its tip.
Add hot water (80°C) without filling the mate completely and always pour in the same spot.
