La Merced Barbacua 500g
The Yerba Mate La Merced Barbacua has been cultivated in a special location of the northeast of Argentina. Its origins and the particular grinding process make this yerba has distinct taste and superior quality with limited production.
La Merced Barbacua is a yerba with stems, dried with an ancestral process inherited from the Guaranis. The drying process is slow and dedicated which the leaves are exposed to the heat of a wood fire for a whole day. This process gives the Yerba Mate an intense and slightly smoked flavor.
The storage of La Merced Barbacua is also very particular. Its storage period is 12 months, which make the yerba mate gain a particular aroma and color.
The yerba mate Merced Barbacua was distinguished with the quality Certificate: Alimentos Argentinos, una elección natural (Argentine food, a natural choice). This certification is awarded by the Secretariat for Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food in Argentina to products that assure the highest quality controls.
In order to keep the quality and taste, it is only commercialized in an exclusive construction paper package with a practical opening; protected inside by an airtight aluminized bag that keeps its unique characteristics intact.
Store in a cool and dry place.
Instructions for use:
Preparation in the French Press / Teapot: for 1 litre you take approx. 12g yerba mate and let it brew at 80 degrees for approx. 5 minutes.
