Anna Park Organic Yerba Mate represents mate culture in its original, artisanal form. Grown in the province of Misiones in northeastern Argentina, this special yerba mate is produced with exceptional care. Only mature, two-year-old leaves are used; they are slowly dried without smoke and then naturally aged for one year. The result is a product whose entire production process takes more than three years.
Anna Park comes from a limited production in Oberá, Misiones – a region with a long-standing mate tradition. The name “Anna Park” – “Anna’s Park” – commemorates Erik and Anna Barney, Swedish immigrants who settled in this area. The yerbales grow in a natural mountain park where mate plants have been cultivated for around ninety years.
The variety “Elaborada con Palo” contains not only mate leaves but also stems. This gives the infusion a particularly harmonious, mild, and balanced character. Anna Park is therefore ideal for anyone looking for a softer alternative to very strong Argentinian yerbas.
The packaging also reflects the product’s natural character: it is made from unbleached paper from Misiones. A mate for conscious consumers who value origin, artisanal processing, organic quality, and the authentic taste of Argentina.
Taste profile: mild, green-herbal, slightly woody, and rounded, with a fine natural bitterness.
