In the year 1956 Lauro Raatz and his wife Sara started producing yerba mate in Paraguay.
At the beginning, they prepared small orders but little by little and with a lot of dedication they reached selling in the entire national market.
Nowadays, they count with a hundred workers and modern automated facilities that produce a daily amount of up to 30,000 kg of yerba.
The brand has been exported since 1985 to several countries and it is present in five continents.
Pajarito is offered in various formats and flavors. This variety includes the Pajarito Tradicional and Pajarito Seleccion Especial, also those with flavors like Pajarito Menta Limón (mint and lemon) or Compuesta de Hierbas (with herbs).
Pajarito is also available in tea bags and a soluble format that is called Pajarito Instant.
